The primary objective of the project was to repurpose the vacant farmyard for residential use while maintaining its original character. This required careful consideration to ensure that key functions of the rooms were adapted without compromising the courtyard’s essence.

A wooden frame construction with a ventilated facade was seamlessly integrated into the existing structure to accommodate modern living spaces. Heating is provided by an air heat pump, photovoltaic elements generate power, and wastewater is treated in a communal sewage treatment plant.
